Wild Boars

CCME is partnering with Uri Shanas and Achiad Davidson on investigating the wild boar population dynamics in a landscape matrix of agriculture, nature reserves, and urban environments. These environments exert unique pressures on the boar's use of resources and also on their reproductive dynamics, particularly in response to hunting. We are also developing a research program for nonlethal management of wild boars in the urban environment.
