Background

On December 23, 2018, a first meeting was held in Merom Golan between ranchers, residents, ecologists (INPA and CCME) and other researchers. Together we tried to look at how a wolf project could come to life in this area. Such a project would include two components:

1. Founding the "Wolf-friendly Agriculture" project
2. Research on coexistence for the above.

Objectives

1. Setting a framework of non-lethal practices to minimize cattle prey by wolves in the Merom Golan region
2. Creating a Wolf-friendly farming/ranchers Organization
3. Initiating a policy proposal supporting the infrastructure for coexistence.
