The Symposium
Compassionate Conservation in Practice
Yellowstone National Park
22nd October 2019
In this workshop we will be discussing how we can promote conservation practices to be more consistent with compassionate conservation principles.
This one day event will provide an opportunity to hear from global researchers engaged in developing this new discipline and learn how researchers are modifying traditional conservation science to ask new questions.
The workshop will be comprised of two sections: a series of talks from leading thinkers in compassionate conservation followed by speed talks from students; and a series of panel discussions that will engage panel members and the audience on hot topics.
